Today is the U.S. Senate primary election for Missouri. I would encourage the small handful of friends I have in Missouri to vote for Sarah Steelman. She is the best candidate in the field and she will make a fine Senator and a good role model for our daughters.
Over the past few years, I have worked for mostly Republican women despite being a lifelong Democrat. I have come to terms with the fact that I am a Democrat who admires Republican women. Disagreements on policy are inevitable with anyone from any party. Devotion is a choice. I am a zealous supporter of mixed marriages and I practice the truest and rarest form of bipartisanship in my professional life by working for Republican women of high character while maintaining my Kennedy-esque Democratic views. It keeps life interesting!
To my Democratic friends and colleagues, yes, Hillary Clinton is still my homegirl. Hillary will always be my President in my heart! <3
